One technique

Almost any material, without heat input.

A waterjet cuts everything from stainless steel, aluminium and titanium to natural stone, ceramics, composite, glass, rubber, plastic and foam. Because heat does not affect the material, it keeps its mechanical properties and you are left with a smooth, burr-free cut that needs hardly any finishing.
