Solutions

More from less abrasive.

Abrasive is a recurring cost in cutting. Our systems feed it in, dose it accurately to the cutting head and take it back out of the water tank. That accurate dosing saves up to 25% abrasive, and the continuous supply system lets your machine simply keep cutting overnight.

Four systems

Feed, dose,
remove.

The upgraded abrasive feeder with its transparent supply cylinder.

Feeder

The upgraded feeder doses the abrasive accurately to the cutting head, with a buffer for an even supply during cutting.

Removal system (RS3)

Automatically takes the used abrasive out of the cutting table's water tank, so you no longer shovel the tank empty by hand.

From the water tank

Continuous supply system (ABR-CS)

Tops up the abrasive automatically and without interruption, so the machine keeps cutting unmanned as well.

For unmanned cutting

Abrasive vessels

If you choose the continuous system, a 2,000 kg vessel comes with it, about one big bag of abrasive. If you do not, we supply a 300 kg vessel.

300 or 2,000 kg

Why it pays off

Less consumption, longer unmanned.

The feeder doses no more abrasive to the cutting head than is strictly needed. That comes from the electronic dosing in the feeder, combined with the advanced vacuum-controlled mixing chamber in the cutting head. Compared with simpler supply systems that work with vacuum control alone, you use up to 25% less abrasive, a cost that returns with every running hour. On top of that, the continuous supply system keeps the machine going overnight, and the removal system takes the abrasive out of the water tank instead of someone shovelling it empty by hand. So you get more running hours out of the same machine, without adding staff.

  • Up to 25% lower abrasive consumption through accurate dosing
  • Continuous supply for unmanned cutting, including overnight
  • Takes abrasive out of the water tank automatically
