Cut for yourself what you now have to order.

In a maintenance workshop the part you need is often just not on the shelf: out of production, weeks of lead time, or never sold separately. With a waterjet you cut that replacement part yourself, cold and to size, from almost any material. And one-off work does not have to wait for a mould.

Why a waterjet fits

From drawing to part, without the detour.

A replacement part is nearly always a one-off. Having tooling made does not pay for that, and the mould or die usually no longer exists. A waterjet cuts straight from the drawing: you put the material on the table, load the contour and cut. The jet cuts mechanically and cold, so the part keeps the properties of the material it came from.

The same applies to the thick and heat-sensitive work where heat-based techniques run into trouble. For the harder and thicker pieces you mix fine grains into the jet; softer materials you cut with pure water.

Why a waterjet fits
01No mould neededOne piece or a handful: the contour comes from the drawing, not from tooling.
02A wider range of materialsAlmost everything on one table, among it metal, natural stone, ceramics, composite, glass, plastics and foam.
03No heat inputA cold process, no heat input, the material keeps its mechanical properties.

In practice

Downtime lasts as long as the lead time.

A machine is down on a single part. If that part is out of production or has weeks of lead time, the supplier decides how long the standstill lasts. With a waterjet in the workshop you cut it yourself: from plate, in the right material, to the drawing or to the broken original. The same table then cuts the one-off workpiece that no tooling exists for either.

  • Cut replacement parts yourself when they are no longer available
  • One-off workpieces and repair parts without a mould or die
  • Emergency repairs with short lead times, in your own hands

Curious how we would cut
your work?

Send a drawing or bring your own material for a test cut. You judge the cut and the lead time yourself. We normally charge nothing for that test cut.
