All our pumps.

The PJ-series intensifier pumps deliver a constant working pressure up to 4,000 bar, the heart of every waterjet cutting system. From compact for one cutting head to high-flow for several heads: filter by capacity and compare.

Overview

Our high-pressure pumps.

All PJ pumps work on the intensifier principle: hydraulic oil pressure is converted into a water pressure up to 4,000 bar. The power determines the capacity, and therefore how many cutting heads you feed at once, and with which nozzle size you can cut. Pumps can also be combined for more power.

Filter by capacity

Every pump is available in your configuration: water-cooled (-W) and with soft starter (S-) against peak loads. Air-cooled (-AH) and the double intensifier (-DI) for uninterrupted production are available on the PJ-2-4000 and the PJ-4-4000; the PJ-8-4000 is water-cooled, with air cooling on request. Request the data sheet per pump.

Compare the PJ series

One pressure, three capacities.

All PJ pumps deliver 4,000 bar. You choose on power and water flow: the more cutting heads and the thicker the material, the more flow you need.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about the PJ series?

Which pump do I need?

That depends on the number of cutting heads, the material and the speed you want to reach. More heads, thicker material or a higher desired cutting speed call for more water flow, and therefore power. One head runs fine on a PJ-2-4000; that power is often already enough for natural stone or quartzite. Several heads call for a PJ-8-4000. We advise on the basis of your cutting work.

Can I combine pumps?

Yes. The PJ pumps can be combined for more power, for example with a pump skid for two pumps. That way capacity grows with your production.

What is the difference between air- and water-cooled?

Water-cooled (-W) and air-cooled (-AH) are two versions. The choice depends on your environment and available facilities. Air cooling is available as standard on the PJ-2-4000 and the PJ-4-4000; the PJ-8-4000 is water-cooled, with air cooling on request. We determine together which version fits.

How much pressure do the PJ pumps deliver?

All PJ pumps deliver up to 4,000 bar. An intensifier converts about 200 bar of hydraulic oil pressure into that water pressure. The PJ-4000 pumps are moreover adjustable from 300 to 4,000 bar.

How quiet is the PJ4-4000?

Under 72 dB. An integrated 2.5 litre accumulator dampens pressure fluctuations, which makes the pump calmer and more stable.
