The PJ-2-4000, compact power.

The PJ-2-4000 is the compact pump in the PJ series: one intensifier, 18 kW, built for one cutting head. Adjustable from 300 to 4,000 bar, with an accumulator that dampens pressure fluctuations. It converts hydraulic oil pressure into a water pressure up to 4,000 bar, and comes in a water-cooled and an air-cooled version.

The intensifier principle

From 200 bar of oil to 4,000 bar of water.

The PJ-2-4000 works on the intensifier principle: a hydraulic oil pressure of about 200 bar is converted into a water pressure up to 4,000 bar. That is the pressure with which your cutting head cuts through the material. If you need more power later, the pumps in the PJ series can be combined.

Where the PJ-2-4000 fits

The compact base pump for one cutting head.

If you cut with one cutting head, the PJ-2-4000 is the pump that belongs with it: compact, one intensifier and 18 kW, the smallest electrical connection rating in the series. For natural stone or quartzite that power is often already enough. If your cutting work grows, you move up within the same PJ series to a pump with more capacity and power.

Cutting at 4,000 bar without upgrading your connection.

That low connection rating is sometimes the reason to choose this pump. If there is no room left on your electricity grid to upgrade the connection, the PJ-2-4000 fits perfectly: you cut at the full 4,000 bar without having to extend your installation.
