Load and unload while the machine keeps cutting.

Flex-Zone is the safety option on the ACM cutting table that lets you load and unload as an operator while cutting continues. The light curtains sit on the bridge of the machine itself rather than around the whole table, so the cutting head can carry on while you work at the other end.

How it works

The hazard zone travels with the cutting head.

With Flex-Zone we mount the light curtains on the bridge of the machine itself, not around the whole table. The protected zone therefore moves along with the cutting head. You can load and unload at one end of the table while the machine simply keeps cutting at the other. Break a light curtain and the cutting head and servo motors stop immediately.

Because loading and unloading now happen at the same time as cutting, the machine runs on more efficiently, unmanned cutting included, giving you more effective cutting hours per day while the operator stays protected.
