La f\u00f3rmula de la energ\u00eda cin\u00e9tica : KE = \u00bd mv2 donde m = masa en kg y V = velocidad en m\/s, es la f\u00f3rmula b\u00e1sica que determina c\u00f3mo cortamos los materiales con un chorro de agua.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; color: #000000; font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-alternates: normal; font-variant-position: normal; white-space-collapse: preserve;\"><span style=\"border-width: initial; border-style: none; display: inline-block; overflow: hidden; width: 490px; height: 323px;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" style=\"margin-left: 0px; margin-top: 0px;\" src=\"https:\/\/lh7-us.googleusercontent.com\/CyDes__ED0F2dBC5YeDgdZsFSbK_RBASy0xGTAJQbBi-8qyhSwELE6ac1MHSbVoN5yopiQUogGzVJZSQgNISI8y9h7GHVGVCjwg4av3iO0vHHDrnuA-VRM3cN4NJGX2LDqEyFkAqNLSsWNXvoYalSA\" width=\"490\" height=\"323\"><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El principio del corte por chorro de agua consiste en crear un fino chorro de agua a alta velocidad que concentra su energ\u00eda en una peque\u00f1a zona del objeto que queremos cortar. Al crear un flujo de agua a (muy) alta presi\u00f3n y guiarlo a trav\u00e9s de un orificio muy fino, normalmente de 0,2 a 0,4 mm de di\u00e1metro, aceleramos el chorro de agua hasta velocidades de unos 700 m\/s, m\u00e1s del doble de la velocidad del sonido. El chorro de agua se conduce a trav\u00e9s de la c\u00e1mara de mezcla, donde crea un vac\u00edo con su alta velocidad (efecto venturi) y es entonces cuando introducimos una cantidad controlada de material abrasivo. Por lo general, se trata de granate fino, que es un producto minero de una piedra dura y afilada de forma natural. Las alternativas al granate extra\u00eddo son los abrasivos fabricados, que son a\u00fan m\u00e1s duros, como el \u00f3xido de aluminio. Existen presiones superiores pero con un gran coste en mantenimiento y piezas de desgaste por lo que econ\u00f3micamente es un l\u00edmite que rara vez tiene sentido econ\u00f3mico. La alta velocidad del chorro tambi\u00e9n limita la posibilidad de mezclar exhaustivamente el abrasivo con el agua. El agua acelera el abrasivo utilizando parte de su propia energ\u00eda y una mezcla de agua con abrasivo es conducida a trav\u00e9s del tubo focal a una velocidad de unos 600 m\/s. El chorro de agua fino golpea el material con precisi\u00f3n y se 'abrir\u00e1 paso' para la fase de penetraci\u00f3n. Durante la penetraci\u00f3n el chorro de agua har\u00e1 un peque\u00f1o c\u00edrculo de unos pocos mm de di\u00e1metro para que el chorro no pierda su energ\u00eda en las salpicaduras. Tras penetrar en el material, continuar\u00e1 siguiendo la l\u00ednea de corte seg\u00fan lo programado. Normalmente el operario programar\u00e1 una penetraci\u00f3n justo fuera de la l\u00ednea de corte para que el chorro pueda hacer un recorrido limpio en la l\u00ednea de corte.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A presiones de 4000 bar en la bomba de alta presi\u00f3n, la presi\u00f3n que act\u00faa sobre la superficie del material puede superar los 400 N\/mm\u00b2, lo que requiere el uso de materiales especializados y un mantenimiento regular para garantizar la longevidad y la fiabilidad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Optimizar los par\u00e1metros de un sistema de corte por chorro de agua es un delicado equilibrio entre presi\u00f3n, velocidad y caudal de abrasivo. Aunque las presiones m\u00e1s altas pueden aumentar la velocidad del chorro y la potencia de corte, tambi\u00e9n plantean problemas, como un tiempo limitado para la mezcla del abrasivo y mayores costes de mantenimiento. Trabajar en el rango \u00f3ptimo de presiones garantiza un rendimiento de corte eficaz al tiempo que minimiza el desgaste de los componentes del sistema.&nbsp;<\/span>A veces es mejor cortar m\u00e1s despacio , dejando que la m\u00e1quina haga su programa en producci\u00f3n sin personal.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En conclusi\u00f3n, el corte por chorro de agua es un testimonio del poder de la energ\u00eda cin\u00e9tica, para lograr capacidades de corte precisas y eficientes para cualquier material.
