Bei sehr harten Materialien wird dem Wasserstrahl ein Abrasivmittel (Abrasivstoff) zugesetzt, um die Schneidleistung zu erh\u00f6hen. Fast jedes Material kann mit Wasserstrahlschneidmaschinen geschnitten werden.<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">Die Kombination aus einem pr\u00e4zisen Wasserstrahlschneider und der intelligenten Software unseres Wasserstrahlschneiders sorgt f\u00fcr eine h\u00f6here Schnittqualit\u00e4t. Beim 2D-Schneiden ver\u00e4ndert der Schneidkopf, aus dem der Wasserstrahl kommt, seine Position gegen\u00fcber dem zu schneidenden Material nicht. Der Schneidkopf bleibt senkrecht zum Schneidbett. Bei den Resato-Maschinen ist das Schneidbett horizontal und der Schneidkopf ist vertikal. Das Schneidbett bleibt horizontal, aber der Schneidkopf kann bis zu 55\u00b0 in alle Richtungen kippen. Dies macht es m\u00f6glich, schr\u00e4ge Seiten zu schneiden.<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">Dies wird unter anderem bei der Vorbereitung von Schwei\u00dfn\u00e4hten, so genannten V-N\u00e4hten, verwendet, wie zum Beispiel bei Arbeitsplatten, die miteinander verleimt werden m\u00fcssen. Der Schneidkopf folgt somit der Form des Schneidmaterials. So ist es zum Beispiel m\u00f6glich, Ausbuchtungen zu schneiden. Das 3D-Wasserstrahlschneiden ist ein recht junges Verfahren und wird derzeit sehr erfolgreich bei der Nachbearbeitung von Gussteilen zum Abtrennen von Membranen verwendet.
